ISS Senior Secondary School commemorated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, also known as National Unity Day, with great enthusiasm and patriotism on October 31st. This day marks the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, and celebrates his contributions to national integration and unity.
The day commenced with a solemn pledge taken by students and faculty, reiterating their commitment to upholding the unity, integrity, and diversity of India, following in the footsteps of Sardar Patel. This was followed by a special assembly held to honor the spirit of unity and diversity in India.
One of the highlights of the day was the “Ekta Run,” where students participated in a spirited run or marathon within the school premises or in designated areas. The run symbolized the unity that binds the diverse fabric of India and emphasized the importance of solidarity and togetherness among the citizens.
