World Environment Day Celebrated at ISS School
A wave of green energy swept through ISS School as students and staff came together to celebrate World Environment Day through a series of impactful and meaningful activities. As part of the One Class, One Plant initiative, each class received a plant to nurture, encouraging a sense of environmental responsibility among students.
The day featured creative and eco-friendly events, including a drawing competition and a paper bag-making activity, promoting sustainability through hands-on learning. Students also participated in a nature walk and a roadside planting drive near the school, extending their care for the environment beyond the campus. Many students brought saplings from home and planted them around the school grounds, while indoor plants were placed in classrooms to create a refreshing and green learning atmosphere.
Principal Mr. Noufal Puthenpeediakkal addressed the students, highlighting the importance of protecting nature and living sustainably. The celebration was honored by the presence of School Manager Mr. K.T. Hyderali, School Secretary Mr. Alikkal Rafeeque, School Management Committee Member Mr. P.S. Abdurahiman, whose support added strength to the school’s green mission.
Together, we grow a greener tomorrow..
