India marks January 26 as its Republic Day every year. In 2023, the country is celebrating its 74th Republic Day. While India gained independence from the British Raj in 1947, it wasn’t until January 26, 1950, that the Indian Constitution came into effect, and India became a sovereign state, declaring it a republic.
On this day, the Chairman of School committee Mr.KMT Mohammd Ali hoists the flag on the ISS Stadium and inaugurated the celebration officially, School Principal Sayyid Shihab were preside over the function, Abdullah Shakir(President of PTA Committee),Mr.Abdulrahiman (Coordinator,ISS),Mrs .Asmath, Mr.Noushad Mrs,Deepa & Mrs,Nishath  were addressed the gathering .
The main attraction of Republic Day celebrations was the parade of team Scout and Guide of ISS, Yoga Display, patriotic song, speeches, Live Quiz, skit on republic day theme etc were conducted as a part of it.
At the end, the program was concluded with national anthem by distributing sweets and snacks to all the students.
